Caroline Zuidema, teacher

Mrs. Zuidema has over 13 years of teaching experience between Redeemer Parish Day School and St. Paul's Plus.  Currently, Mrs. Zuidema teaches the 2 year olds at RPDS and is very excited to have her daughter, Pippa, join Redeemer in the fall.  She has a degree in speech pathology with a minor in Spanish from Loyola University. In her free time, Mrs. Zuidema enjoys playing tennis and walking her dog, Callie.

Katie Schroeder, co-director

Mrs. Schroeder has been teaching at Redeemer for the past 11 years.  Currently she is the 5 Day 3s Lead Teacher as well as the Coordinator of the afternoon Lunch Bunch program at RPDS.  She is a graduate of Stevenson University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Leadership. She has also worked as a swim instructor, Varsity Badminton Coach, camp counselor as well as teaching infants through 4 year olds.  In her free time, Mrs. Schroeder enjoys running, playing tennis, photography and traveling.

Jen Barta, co-director

Mrs. Barta has 18 years of experience in a classroom of early childhood education as well as being the Director of a preschool in Chicago. Currently, she teaches Pre-first at Redeemer during the school year. She is a graduate of Rollins College earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Barta was an All-American tennis player in college and continued her passion for the sport by coaching at the high school level for many years.  When Mrs. Barta is not teaching little ones, she is enjoying time with her own children, Parker and Grace.
